JOB DESCRIPTION

As our Data Analyst you will collaborate with business departments to identify data requirements and develop data pipelines for extracting and loading data into an enterprise data warehouse. By centralizing data in our enterprise data warehouse our group is able to build automatic, scalable, reports that allow us to better understand our supply chain, market, customers, and identify growth/savings opportunities for Rust-Oleum.

Here's what you can expect every day:

• Extract data from external/internal data source(s), transform the data, and load the data into our target Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) database.
• Communicate and collaborate with business departments throughout Rust-Oleum for the purpose of assessing data needs.
• Develop Source-to-Target documents as a reference to how a data pipeline should be developed.
• Develop stored procedures and views in SQL Server for reporting and analysis.
• Provide reporting and analysis for customers, internal employees, and inner department.
• Verify that the data sources and EDW are in sync and balanced.
• Maintain integrity of dimensional data in Enterprise Data Warehouse.
