The Position

The D365 Finance & Operations / Finance & Supply Chain Management Developer will be a hands-on developer responsible to design, develop, validate, and support enhancements, customizations, reports, and integrations for F&O/ F&SCM modules. The position will be based in Warrenville, IL, and reports to the PMO Solution Architect.

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, develop, validate, and support enhancements, customizations, reports, and integrations for F&O/ F&SCM
• Work with Heico operating companies and internal/external functional consultants to document, understand, and translate business requirements to technical solutions
• Maintain as required various non-production environments and codebases
• Work with internal project managers to plan, estimate, prioritize, and track technical and development work items
• Define technology-based business solutions within scope of project - works with selected System Integrator and project teams in the appropriate use of technology
• Review and approve system and design decisions, within established level of authority, prior to implementation
• Provide production problem diagnosis and processes support to project team and assists in implementing resolution
• Prepare the Technical Design document and develop modifications to the standard Microsoft Dynamics applications
• Create and develop interfaces design to integrate 3rd party application with Dynamics applications

Job Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technologies or related field preferred

Skills & Relevant Work Experience

• 5+ years of information technology experience
• X++ development using extensions and custom service development is preferred
• Previous experience with C# and/or .NET framework is strongly desired
• Appetite for continuous learning and willingness/dedication to develop deep technical skills needed to further develop, transform, and modernize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, Supply Chain, and/or Commerce products, processes, and solutions
• Capable of collaborating with multiple business stakeholders to provide information technology solution
• Experience working with Dynamics AX/ 365 technologies in various capacities
• Familiarity working with Manufacturing and or Metals industry preferred
• Coding and technical implementation best practices knowledge
• Understanding of D365 ODATA standard protocol, custom services, and other integration pattern for Dynamics 365 F&O/ F&SCM
• Strong experience in Microsoft .NET, SQL Server, and X++ technologies
• Knowledge in Azure functions, service bus and logic apps
• Experience with integration tools and third party add (ISVs) on modules
• Knowledge with Dynamics 365 deployment and release management
• Leads system design activities and/or reviews system designs to assure that applications solutions will exhibit expected levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, appropriate reusability, and reliability upon deployment
• Demonstrate growing knowledge base regarding current issues and trends, key drivers, and their impacts in relevant industries and Microsoft technologies.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations/ F&SCM Apps Developer certification or equivalent experience strongly desired
• Minimum travel requirements (up to 15%)
