MidContinent, a division of Imperial Dade, leading national distributor, has a job open in St. Louis, MO. We are seeking a talented individual to add to our growing office staff. The Customer Service Representative will be interacting with customers, processing their orders, and providing information in response to customer's inquiries, concerns, and requests about our products and services. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 7:30am until 4:00pm CST.

  • Manage a high call volume and large order entries
  • Strong phone contact and e-mail handling skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and effectively manage time
  • Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve high satisfaction
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers through interactive communication
  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods and tools
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow-up to ensure a resolution was met
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
  • Go the extra mile to engage customers
  • Work closely with management and sales staff on business development
  • Maintain and update customer information as necessary

  • Experienced in MS Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel
  • Minimum of 1 year Customer Service experience
  • Must possess a positive energy and outgoing attitude
  • Comfortable speaking over the phone and proper e-mail etiquette
  • Must have at least a GED/High School Diploma
  • Great communication skills
