Location: Pomona, CA
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Phone Agent / Referral Coordinator in Claremont, CA!

This job will have the following responsibilities:

  • Phone agent for the first part of the shift. Will assist as a call agent receiving incoming calls, booking appointments, changing appointments, canceling appointments, taking messages for the providers / patients, check insurance plans for eligibility and other admin front office duties.
  • Referral coordinator for the second half of the shift. Will submit prior authorizations to multiple health plans and will follow through with patients.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 3 years of experience.
  • Must have experience working at a high volume clinic family practice setting, must be familiar with medical terminology, familiar with health plans and checking eligibility, be able to answer between 100 - 150 calls per day in a fast pace environment.
