CTY Instructional Lead Teachers support academically advanced students enrolled in Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY) courses. They have a primary placement in a program unit (in-person, online, or integrated programs), but are expected to teach courses across units as needed. Instructional Lead Teachers teach, communicate with students and families, engage in curriculum development and course maintenance, and supervise other instructors in their area of content expertise. The percentage of effort dedicated to each of these major responsibilities varies based on evolving needs of the program. Teaching assignments (course titles and program modality) also vary based on evolving program needs.
