ECS is seeking a CTI Task Lead to work in our Baltimore, MD office.

Job Description:

The CTI Lead oversees the daily operations of the team, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of cyber threat intelligence products to the customer. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leading and managing the CTI team to attain the stated mission of providing quality threat intelligence.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact between the customer and the CTI team, ensuring that customer requirements are clearly understood and met.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance information sharing and operational responses to cyber threats.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customer representatives and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Engaging in proactive threat detection, analysis, and mitigation strategies to safeguard organizational assets.
  • Authoring and delivering executive-level reports and briefings on the threat landscape, ensuring that both the customer and program leadership are well-informed on pertinent security matters.
  • Facilitating a culture of continuous learning and development within the CTI team, ensuring that team members are up to date with the latest in threat intelligence methodologies and technologies.

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 cumulative years of practical and educational experience in orchestrating and/or overseeing a CTI program.
  • Proficient in technical analysis with a knack for dissecting complex cyber threats.
  • Exemplary leadership prowess paired with adept organizational and time management skills.
  • A proven track record of fostering collaboration among diverse teams.
  • Stellar customer relations and communication aptitudes.
  • Competency in drafting official memorandums and communiqués in response to customer and program leadership requirements.
  • Skilled in executive-level reporting and briefing.
  • Prior exposure to data loss prevention methodologies.

Desired Skills:
  • Engagements with the Office of Inspector General concerning investigative hand-offs.
  • Technical certifications like Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate.
  • Hands-on experience with Threat Intelligence Platforms (e.g., Anomali, ThreatConnect, Recorded Future).
  • Proficient in identifying and mitigating common cyber threats like ransomware, malware, Denial-of-Service (DOS) attacks, Man-in-the-Middle (MITM) attacks, and phishing.
