HotFoot Recruiters has partnered with a well-established Distributor in need of Credit Analyst in the North Scottsdale, AZ area.

Position: Credit Analyst
Location: North Scottsdale, AZ 85262

Type: Full-Time, Temp to Hire
Shift: 1st shift Monday-Friday 9am-4:00pm

Compensation: Salary $60K

Summary

This position is responsible for making credit decisions, in accordance with established credit policies, practices, and procedures, within pre-defined limits, through analysis of the order and payment history of established customers. This position is also responsible for the collection, management, and resolution of outstanding invoices from past due accounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Maintaining a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that enables you to get along with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.

• Establishing and reviewing credit limits for customers.

• Collecting past due accounts by establishing positive relationships with customers and our sales team. (**our customers come first. The ability to develop positive rapport with not only management, and cross-functional departments, most importantly customers.)

• Maintaining a continuous flow of orders to be released while managing accounts receivable balances and credit limits.

• Achievement of departmental and organizational goals as a TEAM.

• Processing daily invoicing, new account set up, and credit references.

• Issue manual invoices and credit memos

• Assist another analyst as needed

Requirements for this position include:

• 5+ years credit risk management and collections experience

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Applicant MUST be a self-starter

• Excellent organization, communication, problem solving, and customer relations skills

• Detail-oriented

• Ability to work independently and work effectively within a team setting

• Proficiency in Microsoft Products especially Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Applicants must possess strong system skills; solid analytical, collection and negotiation skills; and articulate oral and written communication skills.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience - Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Language Skills - ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, procedure manuals, instructions; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization; proficient command of English language.

Mathematical Skills - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages; ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.

Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual should have thorough working knowledge Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word programs; AS400 experience preferred.

Other Skills and Abilities - 5+ years credit risk management and collections in a distribution environment; strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills; highly organized with outstanding follow-up skills; must be driven to achieve results and function within a team environment
