VCA Bayonet Point Animal Hospital is hiring an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team.

We are an AAHA-accredited 2-doctor practice in Port Richey, FL, offering Primary Care, Illness Care, Surgery, Dentistry, and more. We are open Monday through Friday 8am - 6pm, Saturday 8am - 1pm, closed Sundays.

About the Role

As Veterinary Technician, you will help create and maintain a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our patients and clients. Duties will include:

• Compassionate patient care
• Client education and care
• Venipuncture and catheter placement
• Radiology and diagnostics
• Lab sample collection and processing
• Surgical preparation and assisting
• Anesthesia monitoring
• Dentistry
• Medication preparation and administration
• Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
• Medical recordkeeping
