Description

Use SolidWorks software to accurately generate and edit existing detailed engineering drawings based on rough draft sketches, marked-up drawings, and verbal direction from engineers Accurately edit existing engineering drawings to reflect requested changes from engineers Support machinists and troubleshoot CAM programs Prove out programs Work from CAD files, engineering drawings, sketches and or verbal instructions to perform highly diversified machining operations to customer specifications Create and edit complex programs using CAD/CAM systems, machine controllers and conversational programming Interact professionally and positively with supervisor, co-workers, and customers Work with integrity and follow assigned tasks through to completion Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Education/Training (both required and desired):
  • Associate's Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline preferred
• Experience:
  • 2-5 years CNC programming experience
  • Proficiency in MasterCAM CNC programming
  • Experience with CNC 5-axis milling and turning operations
  • Experience with Okuma and Haas 5-axis mills preferred
  • Familiarity with machining various grades of aluminum, titanium, steel and stainless steel
  • Must be organized and understand the criticality of maintaining configuration control of drawing versions in both hardcopy and softcopy file formats
• Security:
  • Must be a US citizen
