Job Summary

This position is responsible for the recruitment of students for Georgia Highlands College.

Responsibilities

· Is responsible to understand, support, and carry out the college's mission, vision, and values and comply with mandates and regulations of government and accrediting bodies.

· Understands, supports, and carries out the college's mission, vision, and values and complies with mandates and regulations of government and accrediting bodies.

· Implements recruitment strategies for prospective students

· Coordinates activities with high school counselors and community partners

· Provides prospective students, high school counselors, and community partners with information concerning the admissions process, admissions decisions, orientation, registration, and financial aid processing

· Coordinates and provides campus/instructional site tours to prospective students

· Coordinates and conducts off site workshops, fairs, special events and activities designed to boost enrollment

· Tracks prospective students through the enrollment pipeline

· Utilizes technology to track prospective and applied students through the application and enrollment process

· Provides outreach and communication to prospective and applied students through the application and enrollment process

· Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
    Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of a baccalaureate degree in a course of study related to the occupational field

    Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for one to two years

    Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license for the type of vehicle or equipment operated
Proposed Salary
