Join one of Portland's most respected construction companies as their new Controller! This organization has amazing tenure and this role is only open due to an upcoming retirement. As the Controller you will be responsible for the following:

• Oversight of the accounting team and the full accounting cycle
• Check signing responsibility
• Partner with AR on credit approval decisions and determining credit limits
• Partner with subcontractors on Accounts Payable questions
• Work with Project Managers on budget oversight, job costing, WIP reporting and overall financial management of large scale construction projects
• Partner with other leaders in the organization on financial needs of the organization

As the Controller you bring the following experience:

• Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. CPA, CMA, or MBA strongly preferred
• Experience as an Accounting leader within a construction environment
• A passion for leading and developing people

Full compensation package is DOE but base is $120-160K with bonus, comprehensive benefits package including 401K match.
