Job Description

Primary Function of Position:

The Contract Manager will support the construction and real estate activities, working closely with the Sr. Director Real Estate and Construction to drive execution, and elevate the level of commercial and legal expertise around tendering and contracting for construction, real estate, and related facilities agreements.

The Contract Manager negotiates contractual terms and conditions with architects, builders, materials suppliers, real estate professionals/brokers, contractors and other suppliers/partners to ensure company and legal compliance in the procurement of Intuitive's products and services.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with key partners at different levels of the organization including legal, operations, engineering, construction, and finance.
  • Consult on key points of law and commercial best practice, advising of contractual rights and obligations and interpreting complex terms and conditions.
  • Responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts that establish business relationships with suppliers along with scheduling, budgeting, fulfilling regulatory guidelines, submitting claims, and terminations as needed.
  • Analyze contracts to ensure compliance to company policy, government regulations, applicable laws, and other requirements.
  • Analyze, interpret, and respond to legal issues presented in contracts.

Qualifications

Skill/Job Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Minimum 12+ years of Operations, Customer Support and/or Field Service experience.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical thinker, initiative in decision making; ability to multi-task and adapt to change without losing focus of prioritize.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solid leadership skills and prior success building an organization with a track record of recruiting, motivating, and developing talent.
  • A track record of milestone achievement, operational excellence and strong cross-functional skills.
  • Strong understanding and working knowledge of SAP/CRM and Sales Force Information Systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in English; other Asian languages a plus.
  • Familiarity of O.R. protocols, anatomic terminology and knowledge a plus.
  • Willing to travel up to 50% - 75%.

Other Expectations

  • Occasional overseas travel required
