Summary

Kitsap Credit Union is hiring a Contact Center Trainer to work on-site at our East Bremerton Branch. The Contact Center Trainer is responsible for instructing branch and contact center associates and specialists in all subjects specific to initial Associate training as well as progressive and on going trainings that aligns with branch operations business objectives. Coordinates learning area activities and ensures all necessary access, equipment, and training materials are provided. Communicates information to individuals or groups, listening and responding appropriately and ensuring the information and message are understood.

Typical Job Duties

  • Assists in monthly planning, scheduling, and communication of in-branch learning programs.
  • Maintains an in-depth knowledge of all Credit Union products and services, software programs, policies, and procedures for position. Presents and/or coordinates training updates to ensure employees' skills are current.
  • Establishes and maintains constructive, cooperative, and collaborative internal working relationships. Represents management objectives in a positive and influential manner.
  • Regularly evaluates training content and delivery to ensure continuous improvement, monitoring, tracking, and reporting as required to improve training or assist auditing.
  • Collaborates with Learning & Development to create and/or update training materials, ensuring consistency across all branches.

Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1-2 years training facilitation experience or equivalent financial industry experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and business-oriented thinking.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Creative and self-motivated.
  • Ability to utilize effective learning and development methods to deliver adult learning content.
  • Capable of quickly processing and teaching information in an easy-to-understand format.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software.
  • Demonstrates a high level of engagement and active collaboration contributing to a positive team environment.
  • Understand, model, and represent KCU's core values.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, related field, or equivalent experience.
