This is a hybrid role aligned to our Austin local market. Candidates must be based in or within commutable distance of the greater Austin area.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate on the definition and execution of the strategic direction of the Software Capability, foster team development and mastery, and deliver impactful solutions that solve client challenges.
• Support in the growth of our Software practice & capabilities through client-facing business development
• Guide team members toward personal and project achievements, connect them with growth opportunities (client-facing and internal), and champion their interests in the staffing process.
• Act as a mentor and advocate, helping individuals discover and navigate their career paths within Slalom.
• Partner with stakeholders across capabilities to develop,present,and negotiate compelling solutions during the sales process.
• Craft winning solutions which align with client objectives,factoring in budget, staffing, timeline, and team structure
• Lead successful client engagements, ensuring client satisfaction,project execution within scope and budget,and clear communication with all project stakeholders.
• Coordinate across Slalom capabilities to deliver exceptional client outcomes

What You'll Bring

• 10+ years of experience; preferably with experience in consulting leadership
• Proven history of leveraging and growing existing client base; organic business development responsibilities; i.e., growing new account/clients from the ground up
• Technical knowledge of and experience with custom software or quality engineering and/or product engineering.
• Software development experience covering a broad business base, ideally complemented with a concentration in cloud transformation (AWS/Azure/GCP), production engineering, application integration, and/or DevOps
• Experience in full stack software development and architecture and agile delivery
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally & collaborate within teams
• The tenacity to push through obstacles and ensure goals are met in ways that achieve or exceed our own high standards
• The instinct to provide colleagues with the support needed to unlock progress and the human glue to hold high performing teams together
