Overview

The Consultant Liaison is responsible for planning and executing sales and marketing activies in order to maintain and develop sales of QSC products into consultant lead opportunites (including Audio Visual Consultants, MEPs, and Architects) in accordance with agreed business plans.

Base Pay Range $116,000 - $177,000

The above reflects the pay range that QSC reasonably expects to pay for this role. This pay range also depends on various factors such as job duties and requirements, relevant experience and skills and geographic location. In addition to the base salary range, QSC offers a comprehensive package including but not limited to health benefits, 401K or Roth retirement plans, generous time off and profit sharing.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and carry out sales and marketing activities targeted to a defined group of industry contacts and influencers.
  • Develop opportunities while maintaining existing and acquiring new customers through planned initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on the competitive landscape, construction, business, and technology trends that are relevant to strategic go-to-market initiatives.
  • Work within the CRM (Salesforce) to manage the customer database, opportunities, and quoting tool.
  • Participate in market research for new products and organize voice-of-the-customer calls in conjunction with product development teams.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I certification preferred.
  • Minimum of five years' experience selling audio, video, and control solutions in meeting spaces, hospitality, higher education, and government verticals.
  • Must have a complete understanding of integrated audio/video systems and components, as well as considerable expertise and experience in their operations.
  • Proven success in developing and managing sales strategy to support a geographical market.
  • Track record of creating and managing a sales pipeline.
  • Possess strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly independent and self-motivated.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, presentation, follow-up, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in reading specifications and working with architectural plans (CAD or PDF). Visio proficiency is a bonus.
  • EASE modeling skills are a plus.
