Construction Manager We are looking for a Construction Manager based out of Miami with at least 10 years of experience and a recent history of successfully managing the delivery of commercial business construction projects. This position reports directly to the owners.

The Construction Manager acts as the primary interface with internal and external teams, community leaders, and owners to manage the construction from inception to completion and implement the details while maintaining the vision of an entire project.

The ideal candidate must have experience managing project teams successfully through the entitlement, design, pre-construction, construction, and commissioning handoff process and must be able to create and manage the project budget and schedule. The successful candidate will ideally have experience working as an Owners Representative or Superintendent representing the interests of the real estate owner.

What You Will Be Doing Acts as an owners representative by actively managing third-party general contractors and is responsible for the oversight of the items listed in the description below.
Assist with the coordination and tracking of all required permitting and regulatory approvals to ensure timely commencement of work.
Review construction documents for completeness, constructability, and potential conflicts / discrepancies.
Maintain mutual beneficial relationship with architects, engineers, general contractor, suppliers and all parties involved in the success of the project.
Review the prime contract and enforce compliance. Have thorough knowledge of the companys contract with the General Contractor and each contract or purchase order with all other parties involved in preconstruction or construction of the project.
monitor the General Contractors baseline schedule, while proactively addressing challenges that could impact the progress of work and ensuring that the work performed is consistent with the contracted scope of work.
Assure all material and installed items are on site in accordance with the project schedule and sequence of work.
Monitor delivery schedules, and act when it is apparent an item(s) may be late thereby impacting the baseline schedule.
What You Need for this Position Minimum 10 years' experience in construction management overseeing multiple projects.
Advanced knowledge of commercial construction, including estimating and construction management.
Multi-family, multi use development, and renovation development projects.
Hospitality experience is preferred.
Experience managing pre-construction and construction of commercial development projects, ensure they remain on schedule and budget
A strong working and technical knowledge of construction process from start to completion and means and methods of new commercial construction and renovation work.
Experience with estimating and managing self-performed work activities and subcontracted work.
