ECS is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to work in our Albuquerque, NM office.

Job Description:

ECS Federal is currently seeking a Configuration Management (CM) Specialist to support an IT Managed Services program for the Department of Energy. The overall program includes a 500+ work force performing Enterprise IT support, Service Desk, and Telecommunications support across multiple facilities and locations. The Configuration Management Specialist will provide on-site and off-site configuration management and change control support services for classified and unclassified telecommunications and information technology (IT) systems for National Technology and Engineering Solutions of Sandia (NTESS) with a workforce of approximately 14,000 personnel.

Required Skills:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must have a Bachelor's Degree and at least two years of experience relative to the requirements.
• Ability to be cleared at the TOP SECRET (TS) or DOE Q/L level and the ability to maintain clearance throughout the life of the contract. Active Clearance at the TS or DOE L level a plus.

Desired Skills:

• Provide configuration management planning.
• Describe provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits.
• Regulate the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software.
• Audit software change procedures, software development, software testing, and software documentation to verify compliance with software CM plans and procedures.
• Create, Manage, and process product distributions of hardware and software platforms, beta releases, patches, and documentation.
• Perform code management, audits, baseline identification, and preparation and control of documentation for software projects.
• Will provide support in developing and implementing the hardware and software version control processes, policies, and procedures.
