Better requires process discipline and simplification

You'll play a key role responsible for tracking, evaluating and modeling the global evolution of criminal and terrorist threats and through our Anti-Human Trafficking Initiative (AHTI), to detect, deter, and report human trafficking at Western Union. In this hybrid role you will share job duties between the FIU Office of Strategic Intelligence (OSI) and as a leader supporting the Western Union corporate Anti Human Trafficking Initiative (AHTI). The OSI uses "big data" tools and complex, all-source analytic methodologies to proactively evaluate the nature and extent of Western Union's exposure to these threats. You will oversee and supervise the execution of complex, high risk typology intelligence projects. In addition, serve as a leader in the AHTI, planning and executing corporate and extra-compliance engagement, external outreach and relationship management. You'll also be responsible for developing AHTI contributions to corporate-level documents (ESG, Modern Slavery Statement) and communications, drafting material for external and Board use, oversight of Agent training projects and ensuring that the AHTI is executing against strategic goals and objectives.

For such an important role, you will need to have education or equivalent with a least 6 years relevant experience with strategic intelligence analysis, threat finance, financial crime investigation, law enforcement, and or anti money laundering. Knowledge of the anti-human trafficking landscape in the financial, non-profit and law enforcement fields is very desirable along with a master's degree and CAMS, CFCS or related certification. You'll need to understand data types and database query concepts and have an ability to code in SQL, Hadoop, Snowflake or similar related database languages and conduct self-service data blending and Extract, Transform and Load ("ETL") using tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, and Power BI. Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required. Naturally you'll be detail oriented, have excellent organizational skills, strong critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical reasoning skills. You'll be confident and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and discretion and serve as a Subject Matter Expert in the strategy and execution of the OSI and AHTI initiatives.

The on-target earnings range is $124,779.73-$207,966.22 which includes a base salary of $103,337.25 - $172,228.75, short-term (5% of base), and long-term (15% of base) incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on a candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies.
