Pay Range & Benefits:

STARTING SALARY: $17.29/hr

The ideal candidate is available ON-SITE 20+ hours a week for up to a year.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Community Engagement Intern will provide support to the Engagement and Communications Team, specifically focused on community relations. The intern will learn about engagement with both internal and external stakeholders and will build project management skills by assisting with responding to community requests, coordinating with community partners, and building community and corporate relationships. With guidance and support, the intern will gain experience in community outreach, event presence and tabling, and business development.

EDUCATION: No minimum education required

EXPERIENCE: No prior experience required. Supervision will be provided by both the Director, Community Relations & Public Policy (LCSW and LAC) and Manager, Community Engagement.
