The Commodity Purchasing Manager - Electrical and New Technology manages the purchase of complex assemblies and highly technical components under the Electrical commodity based on Platform and Regional requirements including sourcing for Global demand. This role includes tactical and strategic activities involved with the purchase of critical production parts within assigned commodity. You will support product launch initiatives while developing and implementing cost reduction and sourcing strategies, leading to improved quality, technology and timely delivery performance. You will also impact the success of the business by scouting New Technology, not only in Electrification but for all electrical components, currently not used in Agriculture or Construction Equipment's to to enhance the customer value proposition.

This position is eligible for a hybrid work model. Ideal candidate will be located in Burr Ridge, IL, but can be located at any US CNH location.

• Lead supplier evaluation, selection, and sourcing for multiple products under the Electrical commodity desk for the company's manufacturing operations globaly
• Scout the supply base, current and new, for new technology related to Precision Solutions, Electrification and other technology such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), AI (Artificial Intelligence) and sensing. Components such as e-motor, inverter, electric vehicle control unit, dc/dc converter, on board charging, batteries, Power Distribution Unit belong to Electrification, GPS units, Various Software used in vehicles, Intelligent Spraying and Planting systems while new technology parts are to be identified.
• Ensure Precision Solution Businesses is supported with Purchasing services and
• Ensure CNH are presented to New Technology scouted by you and your team and work with dedicated engineer and Supplier Quality team to industrialize new Technology to enhance CNH customer offer. (Current and New Suppliers)
• Negotiates piece price, R&D, and tooling for total cost containment during development and after supplier selection.
• Manages on-time tooling kick-offs and ISIR (Initial Sample Inspection Report) approvals.
• Researches industry trends, performs commodity market analysis, and presents strategic recommendations.

Annual base salary for this position is $101,000 - $170,500 USD (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain or other related degree program
• Minimum 8 years of combined experience within Supply Chain, Purchasing, Procurement, Operations or related work
• Minimum 3 years experience directly or indirectly leading a team
• Strong knowledge of Corporate purchasing practices and negotiation strategies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Stong analytical thinker and problem solving skills
• Experience developing and implementing commodity strategies
• Strong negotiation background with knowledge of corporate purchasing practices and strategies that bring about closures of long-term agreements reflecting positive, future financial results for the company
• Ability to travel up to 20% (mostly domestic but some international)
