Our Certified Nursing Assistants work in the staffing agency through at least two different service lines each month. The flexibility of the staffing agency allows employees to work as little as 30 hours per month or as much as 30 hours per week, with opportunities at the main campus in Asheville, as well as regional work within the metropolitan area.

Position Summary

Under the direction of the licensed nurse, performs basic nursing care and personal care activities to patients according to their scope of practice, identified by the North Carolina Nurse Aide I or II Registry; unless the skill or task is not allowed for practice by a Certified Nursing Assistant at Mission Hospitals.

Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent; completion of CNA+4 training within 90 days of hire

Required License: Must have and maintain current listing with Division of Facility Services as NA-I or II. Must have and maintain current basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification.

Preferred Experience: Hospital or Nursing Home
