Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
BCforward is currently seeking highly motivated Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at Houston, TX.

Position Title: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer.
Location: Houston, TX.
Expected Duration: W2 - 6 Months Contract to Permanent.

Job Description:
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
* BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience
* Experienced participating and drive scoping of technical requirements for cloud based solutions
* Ability to design and develop cloud based solutions and certify them in LAB/UAT
* Experience with Linux operating system internals, public cloud (AWS/Google) database
* AWS/Google cloud services (EC2, S3, Glacier, RDS, IAM, Cloud API's etc.) experience is a plus
* In-depth experience of AWS/Google cloud services data Protection, encryption, WORM, Security, API's
* Experience with infrastructure technology and programming languages or database management systems (Python, Ruby, Java, Go, etc.)
* Knowledge of DevOps Tools and Methodologies (Containers, Kubernetes etc.)
* Public cloud (AWS/Google) certification desired
* Intermediate understanding of line of business technology drivers and their impact on architecture design
* Ability to think creatively to deliver solutions through continuous improvement

Additional Skills:
Min 5 years experience for AWS/public Cloud required
10+ years experience in infrastructure support/development.
2-3 years experience automation skills
