Become a part of our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Clinician for the new Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) at Behavioral Health Network!

Clinicians provide high quality community-based care, encouraging the independence, competency, decision-making, and empowerment of individuals. Clinicians monitor their overall health and well-being in their daily living activities and assist with all aspects of medication treatment and administration. Clinicians provide individuals and their families with clinical support regarding behavioral health and substance use issues and help them maintain and enhance their social support network with family and in the community, frequently providing outreach services.

BHN/OTP is a Medication Assisted Treatment Program to assist individuals who are addicted to opiates and are experiencing their dysfunctional effects to gain and maintain the skills needed to achieve an opiate-free lifestyle. The OTP program uses evidence-based medication protocols approved by the Medical Director to ensure patients safely detox from these substances. These protocols are implemented through assessment and re-assessment practices throughout the process.

Behavioral Health Network is a growing non-profit community behavioral health agency that has been providing services to children, adults, families and communities in Western Massachusetts since 1938. BHN provides comprehensive, outcome-driven behavioral health care. We are dedicated to offering high quality, affordable and culturally appropriate care to people of all ages and income levels in our constituent communities.

This position includes a sign-on bonus up to \$2,500.

Clinicians at Behavioral Health Network have the following qualities:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Mental Health Counseling (required).
  • Maintain current licensure and certifications (required).
  • Six months of experience in human services (preferred).
  • Valid driver\'s license and reliable car available for working hours (required).
  • Commitment to consumer empowerment, growth, human rights, and community integration.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of DPH regulations.
  • Familiarity with internet, word processing and email systems.
