Community Memorial Health System is a community-owned, not-for-profit organization that consists of two hospitals and 15+ community clinics including family-practice, urgent care, our residency program, and several specialties within Ventura County. Responsibilities

Clinical Quality Coordinator - One (1) Full-Time Position

Position Overview:

The Clinical Quality Coordinator works in collaboration with the Director, Quality and other hospital and medical staff to promote positive clinical outcomes, quality metrics and regulatory/accreditation survey outcomes. Participates on key committees to represent and lead quality and performance improvement activities. The Clinical Quality Coordinator supports the medical staff peer review process. Serves as a Lead ISO Auditor. Promotes continual readiness for accrediting and regulatory surveys. Works closely with Senior Management, Medical Directors, Medical Staff Leaders, Department Directors and Managers, as well as, front line staff. The Clinical Quality Coordinator will be a liaison to external reporting groups, such as CMS. Independent work, minimal supervision.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, or a Healthcare-related field
  • Five (5) years clinical experience in a healthcare setting
  • Three (3) years of experience with clinical quality improvement and patient safety practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
Preferred:
  • Current CA RN License
  • Master's degree in healthcare related field
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
  • Three (3) years experience in hospital quality metrics and regulatory and accreditation requirements
