Clinical Laboratory Technologist

Third Shift (United States of America)
Provides technical supervision and training to subordinate-level staff members; performs simple and complex laboratory test procedures in a timely manner as assigned; obtains and interprets data for diagnosis and treatment of disease; performs related laboratory technology duties.

Required Education and Experience
1. Possession of a full license to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in the State of New York; or
2. Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology or a related health care discipline and eligibility for full licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in the State of New York.
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
The preferred candidate will have previous clinical laboratory experience in Chemistry, Hematology, and Transfusion Service. The preferred candidate will have or be eligible for NYS licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist and other relevant experience to clinical laboratory operations. The preferred candidate will also have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work with a diverse population.
