Job Summary
The University of Chicago Press Distribution Center seeks an experienced and accomplished individual to help service publisher inquiries, issues and problems associated with 150+ global client publishers. The Client Services Specialist will work under the direction of the Client Services Manager and as part of a team that reports to the Director of Client Services and Business Operations.
Responsibilities
- In constant contact with over 150+ global publisher clients of the University of Chicago Press Distribution Center to help answer publisher client questions, determine their needs, and resolve their issues and problems.
- Develops initiatives to proactively inform and educate publishers and develop improvements in response to publisher feedback.
- Works independently to respond to client requests on a timely basis, coordinates with external and internal stakeholders, as appropriate.
- Advises, educates, and assists clients with relevant services and processes.
- Builds and maintains relationships, along with other members of team.
- Handles special projects as assigned.
- Articulates the strengths and limitations of assigned products/services and competitor products.
- Reviews contract terms with manager.
- Performs other related work as needed.
