Client Service Representative

We are seeking an experienced Client Service Representative to join our team. This is a full time, permanent position working 4, 10 hour shifts.
We are an ER only veterinary hospital serving East Contra Costa County. We are open 24 hours and are looking for weekend day sifts. We are a fast paced, busy and exciting emergency hospital. Weekends mandatory for Swing position. Holidays mandatory for both. 4-10 hour shifts available.

Hourly rate: $21-$27 DOE

Additional shift diff for any hours worked between 12am-7am

* Customer service functions, including: greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.

. Effective determination, triaging patients and having the appropriate sense of urgency for emergencies.

. Ability to prioritize duties in the face of emergencies.

. Excellent communicating skills and ability to give accurate information to doctors, clients and techs.
* Ability to work in a team oriented environment.
* Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
* Remaining calm and able to handle stressful situations.
* Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients.
* Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
* Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times-both inside and outside.
