Pond is rapidly growing, and we need talented, passionate engineers to join us! Pond seeks an experienced Civil Project Manager to join our design team at either of our Atlanta area offices. We are currently seeking a Civil Project Manager experienced in the design of site development projects. Must be familiar with the design of site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, erosion control, and applicable regulations and permitting processes in the Atlanta, GA area. Projects will include primarily private residential/commercial site development design, park/greenway site development design, and infrastructure design with City, County, and State government agencies. A successful candidate shall lead and manage the design and technical staff for varied civil engineering projects in the preparation of design document packages.

An ideal candidate would have 6+ years of Civil Engineering experience and would be able to supervise a small team of junior engineers and successfully complete all technical aspects of a civil project with minimal supervision, while achieving financial goals and successfully building, maintaining and managing client relationships.

Preferred Qualifications :

• 6+ years' experience as a civil engineer in a consulting environment completing site development related projects.
• An accredited degree in civil engineering and Professional Engineer (PE) registration required.
• Requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, proven ability to work with people of varying backgrounds, and strong presentation ability.
• A combination of the following engineering experience is desired: design of initial site layouts, including building placement, vehicular and pedestrian access, parking lots, etc.; design of site grading plans including cut/fill calculations; design of full erosion, sedimentation, and pollution control plans; design of stormwater management systems and water quality best management practices; design of sanitary sewerage systems, including pump stations and force mains; design of water mains; etc.
• Proven ability to successfully manage project financials is required, including monitoring and tracking project progress, budgets, invoices, and accounts receivable.
• LEED AP, or experience in LEED-based design, and/or PMP certification are a plus.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D, Newforma, MS Office & Deltek Vision experience preferred.
• Experience with supervision and mentoring of junior staff preferred.
