Meet the team:

  • Lead and develop a team accountable for representing Dexcom, Inc. products to Durable Medical Equipment (DME) distributors on both a national and regional level. Position is responsible for ensuring product access and monitoring channel dynamics while meeting sales targets through product awareness, services, inventory management and strategic partnerships.

Where you come in:
  • Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with key decision makers at direct DME distributors
  • Ensure sufficient distributor inventories, including monitoring of purchasing patterns, customer satisfaction and channel trends
  • Lead the execution of marketing, education and rebate programs with measurable outcomes
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews and provide account performance updates to commercial leadership based on metrics and contractual terms
  • Evaluate new partners and novel distribution initiatives within the DME distributor channel in partnership with the Distribution Strategy lead
  • Attends outside meetings or conferences, as appropriate, and assess competitive landscape to keep abreast of distribution trends, including new and existing DME partners both nationally or regionally that may impact channel strategies

What makes you successful:
  • Pharma/MedTech industry account management experience with DME distributors
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in complex, fast-paced growth environment, with track record of meeting financial objectives while maintaining agility
  • Experience leading and coaching account executives, with proven success through complex contract negotiations
  • Deep comprehension of industry contractual terms, including data, services, discounts and pricing
  • Strong understanding of legislative, regulatory, financial, technical, and operational industry dynamics and challenges in the healthcare supply and value chains
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including strong collaboration and communication skills

Travel Required:

  • 25-50%

Experience and Education Requirements:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of industry experience
  • 9+ years of successful management experience in relevant industry
