JOB SUMMARY

5K SIGN ON BONUS - FULL TIME HAND THERAPIST

Baylor Scott and White Hillcrest is currently looking for a dedicated and motivated individual to join our hand therapy team in Waco, Texas.  Our Hand Clinic is part of a state-of-the-art outpatient sports and orthopedic center that opened in 2020.  The center includes 16,000 sq. feet of dedicated rehab space, including a Specialized Hand Clinic.  Our facility has 11 orthopedic surgeons and specialists on site as well as operating rooms and MRI services.   Our Hand Therapist’s work closely with our in-house Hand, Elbow and Wrist surgeon with a second surgeon expected to join the team in late 2021.   Our hand therapists perform evaluation and treatment for a variety of UE pathologies including, but not limited to repetitive injuries, post traumatic and post-operative cases.    Specialized orthotic fabrication is also a significant focus in this clinic. Our hand clinic is a dynamic and fast-paced clinic committed to delivering high quality care to our patients.  This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for the right candidate.

QUALIFICATIONS

- EDUCATION - Masters' or Bachelors plus 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification (Hand therapy experience preferred)

- EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 year of experience required (2 years of experience preferred)

- CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION -
       Occupational Therapist (OT)

       Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
