Steampunk is seeking a Program Manager who is a creative, self-directed, and an entrepreneurial thinker. We're looking for someone who will drive innovation and progressive thinking to execute successful digital design & communications transformation. We are looking for someone specifically with Census experience who has worked in or served the Communications Directorate. Experience with the 2020 Census is preferred.

Ideal candidates will thrive working with clients in a consultative capacity and will have experience managing teams across diverse scope areas, including stakeholder engagement, digital platforms, marketing, branding and advertising. This individual will oversee effective end-to-end solution design, to include integration with other technologies, solutions and programs, driving high client satisfaction with the final solutions.

Contributions

You must be comfortable developing and driving high-level strategic initiatives and managing remote project delivery teams. Being able to create cross-functional teams, establish trust with a variety of stakeholders and customers across multiple time zones, evaluate project feasibility, manage budget, eliminate non-value-add activity, design solutions, anticipate and make trade-offs, facilitate the removal of impediments, and find creative ways to accelerate project delivery is a must.
Qualifications
  • United States Census Bureau experience
  • 10+ years of program/project management experience with a proven record of successful project delivery working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical team members
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proven capability working with, presenting to, and influencing senior executive clients
