To insure the coordinating of all inbound and outbound movements of company trailers between the plant warehouse and the offsite warehouse. Work overtime when required.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pay: $23.60
  • Shift: Monday-Friday (3:00pm-11:30pm)
  • Safety Ensure compliance to all Cardinal and safety rules, OSHA and DOT regulations.
  • Complete Yardhorse Activity and Inspection Form daily.
  • Inspect trailers daily to verify condition meets criteria set by PolyOne for loading and unloading.
  • Complete monthly safety meetings and training. Report on accidents and near misses. Comply with all safety rules per company policy
  • Receiving - 100% accurate and timely receipts. Must be proficient in SAP as it relates to the job functions Safely shuttle trailers from the plant to the warehouse May conduct receiving and put away activity when material handler is not available to unload trailers. Communicate and resolve issues with Supervisor or Manager.
  • Shipping - 100% on-time and accurate shipments - Zero complaints. May conduct shipping activity when time allows - picking, staging, auditing, paperwork flow from office Safely shuttle trailers to the plant. Monitor Transfer orders from the RF monitor. Double check orders that cannot be scanned Double check shipments for accuracy and compliance to picking/shipment requirements.
  • Notify Supervisor of Transfer orders that won't confirm on floor Verify all orders Comply with all shipping instructions, are loaded and posted correctly Operate the on board RF monitors.
  • Building, equipment and supplies Conduct daily equipment check lists.
  • Notify Supervisor of low inventory of supplies needed in warehouse.
  • Perform routine maintenance within the work area.
  • Make sure all trucks and trailers are in safe and operational order. Notify Warehouse Supervisor of all repairs necessary to keep equipment in safe operational order.
  • To follow all housekeeping procedures. This includes Keeping all work areas including the dock areas & aisle ways clean & free from debris, immediately cleaning up any material loss or spillage, putting all trash into appropriate trash bins. Have knowledge of standard practices and procedures within a particular field. Must follow established routine. Employee will perform any and all other duties that are assigned by the responsible supervisor. Must have the flexibility to work all shifts including holidays and weekends as demanded by the job.
OTHER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / DUTIES
  • Ensures compliance with all company / customer regulations, policies, and procedures. Physically count all cycle counts directed to by Supervisor, report all inventory adjustments. Special requests / plant contact, grade changes, labeling, samples, etc...
  • Assist in all office duties as requested by Supervisor Achieve performance expectations set forth as part of performance appraisals to include employee development planning.
  • Communicates with all team members to support the development of short and long range planning in support of the company's goals and objectives Maintain personal tools required for your job.
  • Perform assigned tasks in a safe, effective, and efficient manner. Accurate and timely administrative duties to include, but not limited to, time accounting and work order completion. Must maintain positive customer and employee relations.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education: Possess a high school degree or an approved GED. Possess a valid CDL Drivers license and pass DOT physical and drug test. Experience: 2-5 years' experience in the field or in a related field with a current CDL Drivers License. Must be proficient in SAP as it relates to the job functions Be certified by C&W Services to operate a forklift

  • The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 55 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Requires vision correctable to within the normal range and operation of forklift and heavy equipment. Wear all Personal protective equipment including hard hats, steel toe shoes, ear plugs, safety glasses, long sleeve shirt and pants.
