Purity Dairies is looking for a Case Dock Laborer for our Nashville facility.

The schedule will be 3rd shift Monday - Friday from 10:00 pm - 6:30 am.

Purity Dairy has immediate job openings for a Case Dock Laborer to perform all-purpose duties, which may include ensuring empty cases are available to production departments to meet production schedules and to provide assistance to shipping by moving trailers as requested and according to established company policies and procedures, maintaining and cleaning all equipment in assigned area, slide case stacks from truck using milk hook or pallet jack as appropriate, ensure conveyor tracks are filled with empty cases to prevent production delays, and confirm empty case area is full of cases at end of shift in order to help next shift with production run. Case Dock Laborer will be required to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and communicate effectively with all departments.

OUR GENERAL LABORER FOR THIS POSITION CAN MAKE UP TO:

• $16.50 per hour

SCHEDULE:

• Monday - Friday 10:00 pm -6: 30am (some weekends)

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and assist others when lifting is required
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to legibly write entries for record keeping
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime as required, occasional weekends and holidays
