ABOUT THE JOB:
The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will work with the Willscot Mobile Mini (WSMM) IT and functional teams to develop and implement functionality and enhancements primarily focused on customer applications within the commercial quote to order process. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Manager, Customer Applications Business Systems Analysts to advise our business partners on best practices, enhancements, and innovations within the customer applications suite. He/She will be the primary liaison between the commercial sales organization and the Customer Applications CPQ/Pricing developer and the customer applications development team. The analyst is responsible for ensuring requests are clearly understood, defined, documented, planned, tested, communicated, and implemented while meeting time and quality standards. She/He will assess and understand the needs of the business and translate them into functional requirements or user stories to enable the development team to create a precise technical solution. This role reports directly to the Manager, Customer Applications Business Systems Analysts.
The Business Systems Analyst team will be aligned based on critical business functions:
• Core CRM Commercial & Customer Success processes (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud or similar)
• Configuration, price, quote (CPQ) and pricing applications (CPQ, Zilliant, or similar)
• Field Service and Logistics applications (Field Service, Logistics, Descartes, or similar)

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Principal Responsibilities:
• Clearly understand the business use cases for all functional roles within the organization, including key responsibilities and how the systems and processes impact the end user and customer experience
• Collaborate with the cross functional teams to document requests for enhancements and bug defects, acting as a bridge between the various business units and the Customer Applications development team
• Document and create deliverables such as requirements, specifications, wireframes, prototypes, user stories, test cases, scripts, and project plans for customer applications
• Conduct qualitative and robust QA testing and validation for all Customer Application projects within the defined scope of applications
• Collaborate with the business teams to facilitate test scenarios and test cases/scripts.
• Work with the development team, providing detailed level of effort estimates for any proposed solutions while articulating the benefits and risks to the business stakeholders
• Maintain a catalog of process documentation, identifying key risks and testing requirements to ensure releases do not negatively impact another area or process
• Understand and follow the Enhancement & Defect Governance process to align the team on prioritization, capacity, and release processes
• Assist the implementation team with grooming the backlog enhancement list
• Act as a point of escalation for the Service Desk for advanced issue resolution related to customer applications
• Provide accurate reporting of project status, issues, and risks
• Improve skills in Force.com products by completing Salesforce trailhead trails
• Contribute to the Customer Applications Product Strategy and Roadmap in collaboration with our Business Stakeholders and the Senior IT leadership
• Advocate the adoption of customer applications and identify technical or process enhancements that will increase operational efficiencies
• Keep up to date with the new system releases and new features
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Technology:
• Computer, telephone, and electronic office equipment
• Salesforce.com - Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Field Service Lightning
• Zilliant and other applications as determined by the Customer Application roadmap
• MS Office Suite, project management tools, data enrichment and data management tools

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
• Business analyst experience required
• Strong project management skills, with experience leading projects from design through completion
• Leasing/sales and logistics knowledge preferred but not required
• 3+ years of Salesforce or other CRM experience (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud) required
• 3+ years of CPQ experience (Oracle CPQ, Salesforce CPQ, or similar)
• 1+ years in an Applications Development environment
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Salesforce.com or other relevant certification preferred
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Experience with Visio, Power Point, Excel, Office 365, and MS Word
• Strong understanding of the Agile - Scrum Framework
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
