About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to strategically guide multiple Business Line Systems Analysis teams, supporting and implementing several products. There are a total of 17 reports with two managers reporting to this position. It is a high profile position with management, product and our solutions partners. This team supports multiple platforms supporting Accounts Payable Card, Invoice Automation, Purchasing Card, Active Funds, Business Rewards and PreferPay.

Essential Functions

  • Work with internal teams to activate and configure new accounts for SaaS systems platforms
  • Provide platform training to the client as well as on-going technical support
  • Work closely with peer managers, clients and third-party providers
  • Lead, mentor and motivate team members to implement the department strategy and manage department workflow with guidance on departmental projects/issues, and provide coaching and development opportunities appropriate to each direct report's individual needs
  • Perform all necessary management functions, including hiring, evaluations, annual increase allocations and disciplinary action as required
  • Communicate decisions, priorities and relevant information to team members effectively
  • Report on performance metrics of platforms
  • Manage team performance
  • Manage staffing requirements based on capacity metrics
  • Support budget management, planning and expenditure
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
  • Strong knowledge of accounting, marketing and/or software sales, including knowledge of best practices
  • Strong knowledge of commercial and/or consumer credit
  • Strong understanding of the commercial card industry, including as it relates to the products and services implemented and the margins driving this business
  • Ability to learn the pricing model, contract and addenda language and be knowledgeable regarding the products and services offered by the Commercial Card Department
  • Proven sales leader with the ability to drive results and balance management of organizational risk and meeting goals of the business, including proven contract negotiations experience
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to apply discretion and sound judgement to efficiently and effectively solve problems

  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree with a preferred emphasis in Business Administration, Finance or Marketing or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • 6+ years business to business sales or support experience required
  • 3+ years leadership/supervisory experience required
  • 3+ years commercial or merchant bankcard experience in the areas of implementation, project management, sales and/or portfolio management preferred
