The Business Analyst is leader in their function, responsible for bridging the gap between Mauser Packaging Solutions' (MPS) current processes and technologies and the future state MPS wants to achieve. A strategic problem solver able to focus on streamlining and improving business flows to increase efficiencies and improve ROI.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to develop and monitor data quality metrics and ensure business data and reporting needs are met
• Strong technology, analytical and communication skills
• Ability to provide consultative leadership skills to business partners
• Provide Level 2 support for respective business applications developed in MS O365 environment
• Work with business users and the Applications Team to analyze, identify, prioritize and document requirements, context diagrams, use cases, user stories and storyboards for technology requests and workflow improvements.
• Partner with stakeholder team to develop necessary analysis and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently across the team
• Determine the requirements type needed to most clearly communicate business needs (use cases, stories, diagrams, etc)
• Perform, evaluate, and communicate thorough quality assurance at every stage of systems development
• Develop user test cases that map to functional requirements. Lead & evaluate success of user accepting testing.
• Ensure the delivered product materially meets the success criteria as stated in the project charter. If gaps exist, work with the business to evaluate impacts and determine path to resolve.
• Persuade internal and external stakeholders of the benefits of new technology or strategies

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or Computer Science
• 5+ years of proven experience in an analytics and systems development capacity
• Proven analytical abilities
• Practical experience generating process documentation and reports.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to translate data into actionable insights driven capabilities
• High proficiency with MS productivity toolset
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Interpersonal and consultative skills, knows how to "read the room"
• Facilitation skills (remote or in person, interview or group sessions)
• Analytical thinking and problem solving
• Fastidious attention to detail
• Requirements gathering and documentation
• Processes modeling
• Ability to learn on his/her feet
• Thorough understanding of basic technologies & typical constraints (and to know when to ask for help!). In depth knowledge of the MS O365 ERP landscape and processing is critical.
• Familiar with ITIL, Project Management and Development methodologies
• Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
• Working experience with O365 & ServiceNow
