Job Summary:

We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our Corporate Underwriting Team and support various business segments. The successful candidate will assist in gathering and analyzing business requirements, supporting the implementation of business solutions, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our processes. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop a solid foundation in business analysis and grow within the organization.

This is a hybrid position based in our Warren, NJ office working 3 days onsite, 2 remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Help prepare and maintain documentation, including business requirements documents, process flow diagrams, and user manuals.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure functionality meets business expectations
  • Facilitate training sessions for new hires across multiple platforms, ensuring engaging and effective learning experiences around our Reinsurance tools
  • Design and develop training materials and programs tailored to the needs of the Reinsurance Division, including instructor-led sessions, e-learning modules, and job aids.
  • Participate in testing new or modified systems to ensure they meet business requirements.
  • Engage in continuous learning and development to enhance business analysis skills and knowledge.

Qualifications, Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in a business or analytical role is a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with business analysis methodologies and tools is desirable.
  • Experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools (such as Captivate or AI tools) is a plus.
  • 2 years of experience in training facilitation, including virtual, classroom, and online settings.

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and team members.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and an interest in technology and business systems.
