The Business Analyst is responsible for identifying key performance indicators, report writing utilizing financial and operation data obtained during practice assessments, demographic and financial analysis. This process will utilize a variety of systems along with working together with individual Audigy members and Management to achieve better quality and/or cost efficiency of products and processes. The role will aid the Business Development division in preparing financial proformas, target expansion projects, target marketing projects, operational business plans, and practice valuations for individual practices.

Essential Key Deliverables:

  • Contribute to engagement planning and ensure that deliverables meet work plan objectives and quality standards
  • Responsible for manipulating large data files, then transforming the data into business information that helps Members fulfill strategic objectives.
  • Search for meaningful patterns, trends, and relationships by sifting through large amounts of data and explain the findings to people with varying backgrounds.
  • Implements strategic business plans and goal tracking, both internally and externally.
  • Identify, analyze and present solutions to drive Member-wide business performance.
  • Identifies, defines, and reports business system and process changes that will help individual owners be more effective and productive.
  • Provide P/L analysis on specific business lines, and liaise with accounting group
  • Provide recommendations with more accurate recordkeeping
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting process and effectively communicate with Members
  • Identifies business improvement opportunities including analysis and development of solutions from an operational, human resource, financial, and marketing perspective.
  • Performs demographic and financial analysis of services provided at individual owner locations, including operation analysis, capital expenditures, and operational budgeting.
  • Creates reports after data analysis is completed.
  • Maintains a high level of clinical and product knowledge.
  • Analyzes business functions and provide recommendations to ensure consistency with best business practices.
  • Assists in the analysis of financial data; therefore, strong understanding of P &L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement required.
  • Research questions/issues for Audigy members as requested.
  • Review & analyze accuracy of books and records.
  • Assist in Member-wide performance analysis and benchmarking.
  • Ability to create risk-based performance management reporting.
  • Ability to compile statistical analysis and sampling.
  • Ability to develop analytic tools to support risk-based analysis and/or risk-based modeling preferred (excel based).

Those successful in this position have/are:
  • BS/BA in Business, Economics, Information Systems, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related area
  • 3-5 years' experience with financial or cost analysis /internal financial audit, data quality analysis, statistical analysis
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point
