ABOUT THE JOB
The Early Childhood team supports children and families and promotes wellness through collaboration, advocacy and empowerment. We provide compassionate, high quality, evidence-based services to individuals and families in the communities we serve. Our staff uses a culturally sensitive, family and relationship centered approach to help individuals and their families develop skills and resources to improve overall functioning, to instill hope, and to strengthen resiliency. Our programs work closely with community partners to address health disparities in our neighborhoods while also celebrating the strengths and resilience of our communities.

The Behavioral Health Clinician is responsible for providing clinical treatment to children (ages 0-8) and their families. They are also responsible for supporting families with case coordination and navigation of various city systems, including The Committee on Preschool Special Education.

TO QUALIFY

The Jewish Board is currently looking for talented Behavioral Health Clinicians of all cultures, religions, races, and gender expressions with the following qualifications:

  • LMSW, LMHC, LCAT or Limited Permit/Licensed Psychologist.
  • Experience working with young children and families is preferred.
  • Fluency in Spanish is required.
  • Knowledge of, or experience working with Early Intervention, Committee on Preschool Special Education, Foster Care, ACS, preventive services, and other systems/programs that serve young children and families, is preferred.
