What You'll Do

This position involves using the turning post to turn leather football carcasses right side out. The ball is placed in the steam box. Once removed it is placed on the ball press to flatten the seams, each side at a time. The ball is then placed on the end punch press to punch both ends down into the ball. Then the ball is placed on the turning bar with the closing side up to turn the carcass right side out. Seams are ironed out using the bar and the ends are popped out. The closing end is pushed into the ball in preparation to return to the Sewing Department for sewing the closing. Once the closing is sewed, it is returned to the Ball Turner to pop the end out using the bar and the inside is rounded out for preparation to the next operation of Bladder/Lacing.

This position must be able to handle simple tools and may on occasion perform duties other than those described above.

What We're Looking For

The qualified candidate will have one (1) year or less of factory experience. A high school diploma or GED will be required for this position.

What We'll Provide

We offer a competitive wage and benefit package. Starting pay is $13.07 per hour and this is an incentive based position. 1st shift hours of operation are Monday - Thursday 6:00 am - 3:00 pm; Friday 6:00 am - 12:00 pm with occasional overtime as needed.
