Eagle Harbor Solutions (EHS), a Koniag Government Services company, is looking for a highly qualified, experienced and self-motivated individual to perform the duties of an AV/VTC Technician to support EHS and our government customer.

The AV/VTC Technicians will provide AV/VTC support for USASOC HQ and the subordinate commands. The Technician will:

  • Provide VIP AV/VTC support to meet all Command group requirements. Ensure all issues identified are addressed daily. Ensure all conference rooms are fully functional daily. This support includes being available for the operation and maintenance of Public Address Systems for special events such as Promotion ceremonies, Retirement ceremonies requiring sound.
  • Track all AV/VTC maintenance and repair data in the Remedy reporting System. Manage the configuration of legacy AV/VTC systems by developing detailed system configuration files over time by leveraging existing survey and other data, by performing configuration audits of existing systems, and by documenting system configurations in Remedy as equipment enters or leaves the maintenance process.
  • Provide other AV/VTC sustainment support as directed.
  • Provide technical oversight for EZTV installations issues identified, and troubleshooting equipment as needed. Assist in troubleshooting the EZTV and Digital Signage requirements. Provide AV/VTC support for USASOC HQ and the subordinate commands.
  • Participating in requirements discussions and developing roadmaps.
  • Act as technician on multiple audio-visual projects, which would include demonstrating proficiency with Auto Cad, DSP programming, control programming and commissioning.
  • Maintaining an in-depth technical and business knowledge of A/V and VTC industry directions and trends
  • Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of industry standard A/V and VTC components and their associated installation practices
  • Delivering integrated conference room and Classroom A/V and VTC solutions with the highest quality
  • Providing support to operations and support teams, including root cause analysis when conference room and classroom A/V and VTC issues arise
  • Coordinating and managing the design and installation of integrated commercial A/V and VTC solutions
  • Integrating A/V and VTC systems in an enterprise environment
  • Provides life cycle refresh projections for AV/VTC infrastructure and AV equipment build out projects
  • Assist in driving new adoptions of technology and implement global IT AV and VTC systems.
  • Establish and follow best practices with continuing education and industry certifications.

Requirements:
  • 3 to 5 years of experience; if hold CTS-I then can be 1-2 years
  • Security+ and ITIL certification required
  • Secret Clearance required

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
