Beacon Hill Staffing Group's client, an Am Law 200 firm, is looking for an Attorney Recruiting Coordinator to support the Attorney Recruiting Manager with their summer program.

  • Location: Hybrid (3 days in office/2 days remote).
    • The offices are in Downtown LA and Century City and the position requires commuting to the other office approximately one day a week. For instance, if you are primarily based in the Downtown LA office, you will need to commute to the Century City office once a week, and vice versa.
  • Travel required as needed to visit law schools, offices, summer associate events, and law school programs.
    • Additionally, there may be events that require additional days in the office and candidates must be flexible and available for after-hours work based on the events that are planned. While it's rare, there could also be occasional weekends involved.
  • Start: 5/1/24
  • Duration: 12 weeks
  • Hours: 37.5-hour workweeks (8:30 AM-5:00 PM with an hour, unpaid lunch
  • Hourly pay: $30-$34/hour DOE
We're looking for someone with the following:
  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of professional experience required.
  • Law firm experience preferred.
  • Experience in program management, event management, recruiting, and/or campus outreach preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment and professionalism.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Process-oriented, professional, comfortable working a room and being people-facing, and will demonstrate strong customer service skills.
The role involves:

The Attorney Recruiting Coordinator will be traveling between the Downtown LA and Century City offices, as well as to San Francisco a couple of times to support the summer program, on-campus recruiting and interviewing, and law school-related events.

The coordinator will assist with all aspects of attorney hiring and is responsible for increasing brand awareness on law school campus', curating and executing an exceptional Summer Associate employee experience, overseeing the law student interview process ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience yielding top talent hires, and manage a welcoming onboarding experience for our newly hired employees.
  • Assist the Attorney Recruiting Manager with the coordination and execution of all phases of recruiting efforts for summer associates and attorneys.
  • Plan and coordinate the summer associate program and social activities.
  • Conduct pre-summer planning/informational meetings, in conjunction with the manager, prior to the start of the summer program.
  • Facilitate orientation for summer associates. Continually monitor and hone the orientation program to ensure it effectively and accurately relays pertinent firm and new hire information.
  • Prepare mid and final summer review materials for Summer Program Committee.
  • Develop and leverage relationships with career services departments at liaison law schools and coordinate all outreach efforts throughout the year.
  • Facilitate On-Campus Interviewing and Coordinate Callback Interviews.
  • Assist the Attorney Recruiting Manager with preparation for Recruiting Committee Meetings
