The Department of Ophthalmology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of the field of Ophthalmology with a focus on Glaucoma. Candidates must have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Candidates must have completed 3 years of ophthalmology residency and at least 1 year of fellowship in glaucoma.
Teaching responsibilities may include attending in resident clinic, and medical student education at the Scheie Eye Institute and its satellite facilities.
Clinical responsibilities may include providing glaucoma patient care at the Scheie Eye Institute and its satellite facilities.
