Your Role:Reporting to the Head of Oncology Brand Marketing, Associate Director will be responsible for leading the strategy and tactical execution for oncology product (immuno-oncology), Bavencio in the US. This includes leading the refinement and execution of the overall brand strategy, leading all aspects of tactical execution and leading complex cross-functional teams to accomplish brand objectives.

  • Lead Cross-functional Team to develop/refine Bavencio Brand strategy and enable seamless tactical pull through
  • Represent US perspective at the Global Brand Team and ensure strategic alignment between Global Brand Team and US Brand Team
  • Lead Alliance partnership on Bavencio
  • Become a thought partner for Opinion Leader Liaison (OLL) and Market Research Teams to ensure our strategies and tactics are externally focused and grounded in the customer insights
  • Continuously evaluate marketing tactics' effectiveness and adjust to achieve our business objectives
  • Lead market analysis and competitive benchmarking workstream to identify new opportunities
  • Lead ad board(s) to gather insights from HCPs to optimize marketing plans
  • Work closely with the Market Research Team to continuously refine insight generation plan, derive insights from the existing market research reports and ensure those are guiding our tactical execution
  • Lead US HCP and patient marketing efforts, including message development/refinement, and execution of branded and unbranded promotional materials
  • Partner closely with the field teams to ensure message pull through, provide support, monitor performance, and uncover opportunities and issues
  • Collaborate with multiple agency partners in the execution of strategic and tactical plans to achieve business objectives
  • Lead P2P education strategy and execution, ensure continuous refinement and account focus
  • Provide input into execution of the digital strategy and develop impactful content for digital tactics
  • Ensure clear execution focus for community versus academic accounts
  • Shape brand-level investment plans, oversee the marketing budget and collaborate with cross-functional partners to optimize the spend
  • Lead monthly cross-functional budget review meetings to ensure accurate phasing and focused execution

Who You Are:You have an understanding of the US biotech specialty space with demonstrated ability to learn and master complex business environments. You have strong communication skills and an ability to translate complex information into succinct and impactful messages. You're motivated by results, urgency, and personal commitment. You possesses high integrity and exceptional work ethic, and foster mutual trust and respect.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • BA/BS required with 8+ years of experience
  • 6+ years of experience in marketing, sales, and/or operational roles in pharmaceutical/biotech industry
  • Experience working in the US Oncology market
  • Position requires both domestic and international travel up to 25% of time

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
  • Experience with GI cancers is a plus
  • Proven record of successful leadership in matrix organizations
  • Ability to present Experience presenting to all levels of the organizations to individuals and groups as well as respond succinctly and clearly to any questions and challenges while presenting
  • Experience in managing a budget that includes agency and consulting
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and effectively influence, collaborate, and communicate with internal and external partners
