Immediate need for a talented Associate Developer - Java. This is a 06 + months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Atlanta, GA . Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $42.55/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Constructs, tests, and implements portions of business and technical information technology solutions through application of appropriate software development life cycle methodology.
• Participates in standard business and technical information technology solution implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and conversions.
• Uses appropriate tools to analyze, identify, and resolve business and/or technical problems

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Experience in test-driven development and effective unit test creation
• Experience in designing and implementing RESTful services
• Experience in working with 12-factor methodology and understanding its benefits, and able to demonstrate appropriate patterns to other team members
• Experience in a CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Experience with Java/J2EE, spring framework, Gitlab, Jira, Oracle 11+, Java 8, Jenkins, Gradle
• Experience in software development using Agile methodology
• Experience in creating self-contained, reusable modules and components
• Proficient in query optimization and troubleshooting
