Overview

The Associate Director, Field Medical Operations-Training & Analytics will implement training systems, processes, and tools, as well as conduct field analytics. Execution of assigned activities related to knowledge development, new hire training, vendor management, and implement field analytics to support medical strategy.

Responsibilities

Additional representative responsibilities will include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following:

  • Support the development of therapeutic training materials in collaboration with therapeutic area partners (internal and external) to ensure the content is aligned with goals, functional area needs, and overall strategic objectives.
  • Ensure that therapeutic training materials are updated in a timely manner.
  • Instill a spirit of continuous improvement to consistently enhance/modify existing programs, application of innovative training initiatives and technology platforms.
  • Support the implementation of the new hire onboarding initiatives including development and maintenance of materials that facilitate efficient assimilation, and learning development,
  • Optimize how Medical Affairs utilizes the learning management systems.
  • Serves as a key clinical/scientific resource to the field and internal colleagues by providing ongoing product and disease state education via live training or video conferencing.
  • Work in close collaboration with team members from across Medical Affairs, HR, IT, Clinical Development, Compliance/Legal, etc.
  • Support the collection, analysis of clinical insights and support integration of key insights into shaping of medical strategies, tactics, tools, initiatives, and field intelligence.
  • Manage systems, CRM deployment/support/interface with IT. Development and deployment of tools, resources, processes, and procedures.
  • Support execution of key projects, initiatives, congress planning and functional coordination.


Qualifications

  • 5 Years Pharmaceutical/Healthcare experience
  • Demonstrated successful MSL experience
  • Training/operations experience strongly preferred
  • Respiratory or infectious disease, and orphan/rare disease experience
  • PharmD, MD, PhD preferred
  • Ability to execute strategic training and development plans
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of how people learn (i.e., adult learning theories), instructional design models, state of Learning and Development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills
  • Highly effective analytic skills
  • Project/program management experience and demonstrated competency
  • Organizational agility - ability to work cross-functional, ability to achieve results through others, including vendors
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and demonstrated group facilitation and classroom presentation skills
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, clarity, accuracy and conciseness.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).


Travel Requirements

Domestic travel between 20-30%

Salary Range

Insmed takes into consideration a combination of candidate's education, training, and experience as well as the position's scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required in the role, and external market and internal value when determining a salary level for potential new employees.
The base salary range for this job is from $140,000.00 to $200,000.00
