Urogynecology Job Description

The Urogynecology Division of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences (http://obgyn.med.miami.edu) at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine (UMMSOM) is experiencing a period of expansion and is seeking exceptional candidates to join the faculty. In this role, the urogynecologist will work alongside a collegial staff of women's health physicians to develop a personalized treatment plan for each patient in both the University of Miami/ UHealth and Jackson Health Systems. The facility offers innovative female pelvic medicine and uses an integrated approach to care, with an emphasis on minimally invasive, non-surgical treatments to help improve the lives of patients. The Urogynocology Division is recruiting for full-time Assistant Professor of Clinical. Candidates must be Board Certified in Urogynocology. The ideal candidate will be energetic, motivated, and committed to outstanding patient care, research and education, and will be an established, academic, urogynecologist. A strong commitment to teaching medical students, residents and fellows, and conducting research are prerequisites for being Faculty. Clinical investigation includes a broad range of domains, including but not limited to patient oriented, translational, epidemiologic, behavioral, outcomes, implementation or health services research.

Primary clinical responsibilities include participation in inpatient and outpatient urogynecological clinical practice at the UMMSOM and Jackson Health System sites.

Requirements:

Board Certified / Board Eligible gynecologist with fellowship training in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (Urogynecology) Full-time; 1.0 FTE Florida Medical License DEA, ACLS required

Compensation will be provided commensurate with experience.
