The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Boise State University is hiring for multiple tenure-track positions at the Assistant or Associate Professor levels. Preferred areas of specialization should encompass electromagnetics, including areas such as lasers, photonics, plasmas, antennas, and RF and microwave devices.

The Department also has needs in the broad area of signals and systems, including but not limited to signal processing, wireless networks and communications, antenna/RF design, image processing, channel modeling/characterization, and Internet of Things (IoT).

Regardless of the candidate's focus area(s), experience with obtaining and conducting funded research is expected. Additional expectations include excellence in teaching and instruction, supervision and mentorship of graduate and undergraduate students, and service to the community and profession.

Separately, the Department is seeking faculty specializing in semiconductor device processing and fabrication, semiconductor device physics, integrated circuit design, and/or computer systems engineering with an emphasis on cyber-physical systems, cybersecurity, or emerging computing architectures. Minimum Requirements: A PhD in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
