POSITIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Department of Pharmaceutical Systems and Policy at the West Virginia University (WVU) School of Pharmacy seeks applications for two tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant and Associate, Professors to join our health services & outcomes research team. These 12-month tenure track positions are available immediately and the appointment at the Assistant and Associate Ranks will be based on candidates' experiences and qualifications. Primary responsibilities include graduate and professional program teaching, graduate student mentoring, and developing an independently funded research program in health services and outcomes research. Salary and start-up packages are competitive.

QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. or equivalent degree in health-related disciplines with a strong research focus in patient-reported outcomes, health outcomes research, and pharmacoeconomics. Relevant doctorate degree in other disciplines such as advanced biostatistics, pharmacoepidemiology, health outcomes data sciences and health policy will also be considered. Candidates are expected to demonstrate abilities for securing externally funded, peer-reviewed research. Candidates must also possess a commitment to excellence in educating and advising graduate and PharmD students. Candidates should interact effectively with interdisciplinary collaborators and be eligible for appointment to the graduate faculty in order to teach and mentor graduate students engaged in health services and outcomes research.
