Trinity Health Of New England needs an Anesthesia Tech assist the anesthesia provider in preparation for administration of anesthetics by performance of routine and delegated duties, according to standards and policies of the Saint Mary's Hospital Operation Room and Anesthesia Department. Provides assistance in emergency procedures, as well as elective and scheduled cases, and assists in preparation, transportation and supervision of patients.
Experience working in an operating room or other acute patient care setting desirable. Read, write and speak English required.

About Trinity Health Of New England:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent, required.
Experience: Minimum of one year experience working in Anesthesia preferred. Must have: strong knowledge of medical terminology and instruments; thorough knowledge of the set-up and operation of anesthesia delivery systems; knowledge and skills needed for the selection and assembly of case-specific equipment; and ability to set and maintain a sterile environment. Must have a strong attention for detail, the ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, physicians, and patients, and excellent customer service skills.
